Hef: Republicans Have Declared War On Sex April 23, 2012
Hugh Hefner doesn't write editorial-type articles very often. But when he does, he really should consider writing something original.
That whole "Republicans are against sex" thing has probably been going on since Abraham Lincoln's first campaign for President of the United States.
And it doesn't gain any more credibility just because an immoral hack who can't keep a wife (or a fiance) like Hefner repeat it.
This just in: The guy who publishes a magazine featuring pictures of naked women doesn't support the political party that promotes family values.
And you gotta love Hef's issue with Ron Paul: "Ron Paul was no better [than Rick Santorum], believing that the birth control pill did not cause immorality but that immorality creates the problem of wanting to use the pill."
There are many statements that Ron Paul has made which one can criticize. We're pretty sure that pointing out the obvious about birth control pills is not one of them.
And he also rips Romney for wanting to overturn Roe v. Wade. Two points, Hef: 1) Overturning Roe just means it's back to the states, of which few (if any) will criminalize abortions; and 2) People are not "anti-sex" because they respect the sanctity of human life.
In summary: We think Hef is just grouchy because free Internet porn took away his income stream.
