Aw: 'Media Matters' Whines That Globaloney Isn't Getting Enough News Coverage April 18, 2012

Today, left-wing Christian-hating organization Media Matters decided to actually present some good news for conservatives.

In an article entitled "Climate Change Gets Trumped", the media watchpoodle organization notes that climate change coverage has dropped significantly since 2009.

Probably because journalistic organizations would like to report news that people consider important and/or interesting. And Americans really don't give a rip about climate change any more.

My theory as to why: Climate change evangelists overplayed their hand.

It's hard to take the alarmists seriously when they have a spokesman like Dick Durbin saying with a straight face that driving hybrid cars can prevent climate change, and therefore reduce the number of tornadoes that we experience. To make matters worse, he said this right after a series of deadly tornadoes hit the Dallas, Texas area. Talk about letting no good crisis go to waste.

And then there's the invaluable link between global warming and terrorism.

The simple fact of the matter is that liberals, by trying to link almost every problem in society to global warming, have simply alienated open-minded people who might otherwise have taken them seriously.

And that is a good thing.
