Lawrence O'Donnell: 'They Were Always Lying' When They Predicted ObamaCare Would Be Upheld In Court
Admitted Socialist Lawrence O'Donnell made a fatal flaw on the set of Morning Joe this morning.
He spoke the truth.
First of all, you gotta love the way that the whole Morning Joe crew laughs at the Solicitor General's abysmal performance before the High Court this week.
Then O'Donnell pulls out a stand-up line: "They tried to get Rick Perry to argue the case." Okay, as a dyed-in-the-wool conservative, I have to admit that's pretty funny.
Then the discussion goes into O'Donnell's role in HillaryCare, circa 1993. Even during that era, O'Donnell admits, he knew that there might be Constitutional questions about the (ultimately failed) proposal.
That discussion led to O'Donnell blatantly admitting that "they" were "pretending" and ultimately "lying" when "they" predicted that ObamaCare would be upheld in the Supreme Court.
By "they", of course, he means the usual cabal of left-wing apologists who predicted what they wanted to happen rather than what sound analysis would lead them to believe would happen.
Well, maybe he wouldn't describe "they" in those terms. But I do.
O'Donnell continues: "They were terrified from the start."
For good reason.
